Evaluation of Service Support to Schools - 2018

Babcock LDP Educational Psychology Service conducted a survey to assess the impact of their service as judged by schools in 2018. The full survey is linked below and the following are some specific impacts as identified by SENDCOs:

  • 64% identified that there had been a change in activities carried out with the student
  • 85% identified that there was an improved understanding of a student's needs
  • 57% identified that the wellbeing of the pupil has improved
  • 65% identified improved wellbeing for staff, family and child or young person
  • 47% identified improvement in the stability of the child or young person's placement at home or in school
  • 52% identified improvement in the child or young person's readiness to learn following the Educational Psychologist's involvement

School Survey 2018-19

The first stakeholder survey of the year (April-18/19) was undertaken this quarter and assesses the impact of the Educational Psychology Service (EPS) from the school perspective.

Children and Young People Survey 2018

Babcock LDP Educational Psychology Service (EPS) conducted an evaluation to assess the quality and effectiveness of the service as judged by children and young people. This can be found here.

Parent Survey 2018

Babcock LDP Educational Psychology Service conducted a survey in order to assess the quality and effectiveness of the service as judged by parents in the Autumn of 2018. This can be found here.

School Survey 2017-18

Babcock LDP Educational Psychology Service conducted a survey to assess the quality and effectiveness of their service as judged by schools from April 2017-March 2018. An in-depth case study approach was taken to gather some qualitative results to compliment the 3 previous quantitative school surveys. This can be found here.

Parent Survey 2017
