Newsletters and magazine
The Governance Consultancy Team publish a weekly update the 'Governance Alert', a termly magazine 'Governance Today and a termly newsletter 'Checklist', all of which are included in a subscription to our service.
The Governance Alert is sent electronically every Friday in term time, with a round up of both local and national items of interest to governors, trustees and clerks.
The Governance Today Magazine is dispatched to schools the week following each half term, one copy for each governor or trustee and clerk. As well as articles and information it contains details of our training programme. If you have a story from your governing board for inclusion in the magazine, a topic you would like us to cover, or a success to share please let us know so we can feature your board in a future issue. We are also keen to receive photographs from local schools - who knows, it could be your school featured on the front cover of the next issue! Please contact The Editor: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Checklist is published at the start of each term and sent to clerks electronically to forward to the board and associate members. There are two versions of the Checklist, one for academy schools and one for maintained schools; both contain useful information to help the board plan their work for the term and ensure they are up to date with changes affecting their statutory duties.
Copies of these publications are also available to download from the 'subscriber content' area of the website.
In order to view the subscriber pages and download the resources you will need to register for access.
