Katy has been performing traditional stories since 1996 and has extensive experience working in both primary and secondary schools. She has also worked for the education departments of the Barbican, the Museum of London, the British Museum, the Royal Opera House, Whipsnade Zoo and The National Gallery. She can tailor a programme including workshops to suit your needs, drawing on a wide repertoire of stories from different cultures: particular strengths are Greek and Norse mythology and Arthurian legend - see her website for more details. She is also currently offering The Story of the Mayflower (part of Plymouth's Mayflower400 in 2020) and The Tempest Retold. She has a series of story-based workshops for Y2/Y3 specifically aimed at raising literacy levels.
