Primary and Secondary NQT Masterclass

This half-day masterclass with Senior Lecturer in Primary Education, Sarah Wright, will provide an invaluable CPD opportunity for those new to the teaching profession. Sarah's first session will provide knowledgeable advice on how to explore links between creative, engaging and meaningful teaching and positive behaviour management techniques which will help impact your pupils progress. Her second session will be focused on how to make formative and summative assessment matter for both you and your pupils, which will ultimately help win the work life balance!
Delegates will also have the opportunity to network during the morning with exhibitors and colleagues to share best practice across the South West.
Who Should Attend?
Newly Qualified Teachers in the primary or secondary phase and teachers who have completed their NQT year.
About Sarah Wright
Sarah Wright is a Senior Lecturer in Primary Education at Edge Hill University. As a key stage 2/3 trained teacher she continues to practise in a range of settings. As a specialist in technology enhanced learning, Sarah is an Apple Distinguished Educator and writes for the TES on a range of issues.
